It's been so long since I've done a cloth diaper review! And how I've missed the fluffy goodness of these awesome diapers! My son tricked me into thinking he was ready to potty train and then went right back to diapers after I gave my sister in law my stash. (Most of which he had outgrown) So we've been in disposables until he potty trains! But in the meantime I'm happy to review some cloth until he does! That's why when I received a big brown envelope with 'you've got fluffy mail' written on the back I done a mental back flip! It was so exciting!
Booty Buns Cloth Diapers sent me the cutest diaper. Its a beautiful blue color, Moon Booty is the name of this color. I was so pleased with the feel of this diaper. You can feel the quality in the fabric. Each diaper comes with 2 inserts, a newborn and a large size. I also recieved an adorable cloth wipe with mine. And this really surprised me b/c I'd never seen it before, they included a little cotton liner to put in for poops! What an awesome idea? That makes clean up so much better and easier! Props to who ever thought to include that!
Now let's talk sizing! The Original Booty Cloth Diaper comes with 4 rows of riser snaps to give you 5 levels of height adjustment; 10 rows of double waist snaps, and 2 rows of crossover waist snaps to find the best fit for your baby's booty. It also has a hip snap on either side to help prevent wing droop. So this diaper is a great one size that diaper that can grow with your little one. I am a big fan of one sized diapers because they are so economical.
The outer layer of this diaper is made from waterproof PUL that seems thicker than some other brands I've used. There is a pocket opening in the back where there is a little elastic band, to stuff a liner in. And there is a snap at the front of the diaper to hold your liner in place. There is also an opening at the front of the diaper. I just love that feature. Inside this diaper are 2 gussets to help hold the mess in the diaper and the material is made from really soft suede cloth. This diaper's feel is definitely 'fluffy'. Your little one would be extremely comfy in it.
This diaper is completely machine washable. I prepped this diaper like any other. And I tested absorbency with my 2 1/2 year old boy who pees A TON! It held up awesome. I did use both inserts because of how much he pees. I love this diaper, it almost makes me sad that my son is getting close to potty training age! Cloth diapers are just too cute on little bums!
Now I just think that Booty Buns Cloth Diapers has an awesome goal. For every cloth diaper they sell they donate a cloth diaper to baby in need in third world countries. So by purchasing a diaper from them your not only helping your baby and the environment but your helping a baby in need. How great is that?!
