Win three NG Kids Titles: Big Book of Why, Cool Animal Activity Book, and Cutest Animal Sticker Activity Book!

WINNER:tschmidt82@gmail.com

I think it has been pretty rainy across the country, but I can attest that Florida has had some unusually rainy weather. I am not complaining at all because at least this beats the forest fires, but it has kept my little man in for the summer. It is a wonderful thing that he loves arts and crafts, reading, and other indoor activities, and does not seem to go too stir crazy. One of the fantastic boredom busters that we received this summer is the NG Kids Books that have definitely helped little man stay busy. The three books we received (which are appropriate for ages 4-8) were the:

National Geographic Kids COOL ANIMALS STICKER ACTIVITY BOOK:  Over 1000 easy-to-remove stickers is just one reason why kids will love these books that are chocked full of the fiercest, most powerful animals that kids can't get enough of.  Every page also includes games, spelling and pattern games, counting and wild animal facts about tigers, lizards, lions and sharks, polar bears bugs and many more fantastic creatures.

National Geographic Kids CUTEST ANIMALS STICKER ACTIVITY BOOK:  Brimming with the cutest, fluffiest, most squeezable animals and featuring page upon page of stickers, lively text, animal facts and games this activity book will not only have kids saying "awww" but also "wow," "cool," and "awesome," too!  Trademark National Geographic photography and art capture koalas, pandas, rabbits, kittens and puppies at their cuddliest -- making this activity book a necessity for any summer survival kit!

National Geographic Little Kids FIRST BIG BOOK OF WHY:  Using an interactive question-and-answer format and content grounded in a child's immediate world, the Big Book of Why delivers lively information, hands-on games, simple recipes, crafts, and more. What makes a car go? How does mushy dough become a crispy cookie? What does the doctor see in my throat? The Big Book of Why invites children to ask big questions, think big thoughts, and get answers that are accurate, engaging, level-appropriate, and based on sound educational findings. Highly photographic and playful, this big book is an adventure in exploration and will make long car rides seem like a quick trip around the corner!

We just recently went on vacation and as you can tell by the picture, we were trying to make the absolute best of the ten hour drive we had to make. The drive actually took 12 on the way up. Needless to say, it took lots of activities to keep my almost 6 year olds mind occupied. Luckily for me, I remembered the books listed above. I might have had stickers all over me, him and my car- but it definitely helped him pass an hour or two along the way. We ohhh'ed and ahhh'ed over the cute animals, and ewww'ed over some of the lizards and other strange looking animals, but we had a good time! The National Geographic Kids Big Book of Why is especially my favorite because it definitely opened up conversations while on the ride. We talked about recipes and crafts, but we also learned a lot- even me- after almost 32 years learned a lot! The three titles are a definite must if you have a science minded child like mine, or just a kid that is going plum stir crazy!  They definitely helped curb the boredom for us, and I know they can do the same for you!

Win It: One lucky winner will receive all three titles. This is an approximate retail value of $28.93. Odds of winning depend on entries received. US ONLY. Please use rafflecopter to enter.
