Win a Fun, Educational DVD from MonkiSee!

winner: saramomofmany@gmail.com

“MonkiSee is a fun and entertaining collection of baby DVD's that expose babies to upbeat music, original poetry, lovable puppets and real world images.  The MonkiSee collection teaches your baby to identify their body parts, colors, shapes and more, all while learning to read.  The Monki See series is rich in language and has been proven to increase your baby's vocabulary.

The MonkiSee Baby DVD series is a fun way for your baby to learn necessary preschool skills such as color and shape recognition.  The concepts are introduced in a fun and interactive way.  Your baby will love to "monkey around" with the lovable Howie and Skip."

Intellectual Baby is probably one of my favorite reviews of all time. Why? Well, that would be because it has been there for my oldest and my youngest. Way back in 2009, before my oldest was two, I reviewed Intellectual Baby and their MonkiSee video and flashcards. Since I waited over five years between babies, I gave these little jewels away to a friend, so I contacted them again, now that baby boy two is six months.

Do kids actually enjoy learning with MonkiSee? MonkiSee agreed to send me their video series including: Action Words, All About Shapes,  All about colors, Animals on the Farm, Baby’s First Words, Around the House, and ABC Round Up. All of these movies feature Howie and Skip, which are two adorable monkey puppets that make the video fun and interactive for children. I knew I had to contact MonkiSee again, because we pretty much had the video we received from them memorized with my oldest. I kid you not; it was his ABSOLUTE favorite thing to do. We even paid for Baby television, but he wanted no part of it. He would literally watch Skip and Howie for hours while I cleaned. To this day, when I put the video in for my little guy, I catch my oldest watching it (you can see this in the photo.) Even though the video’s say they are good for 3 months-4 years, my oldest will be 6 next month and loves them!

Why does Mommy love these videos? Well, the obvious reason is it keeps my babies entertained while I clean or do something really important. However, there is so much more to it! They are educational. Truly educational- unlike some shows that claim to be. The entire video is busy driving home the message of the video. They are bright and colorful, with real life children in them. They are not so cartoony that it draws away from the education…though Skip and Howie do add comic relief to the education. Each video lasts around 30 minutes, so it is not so long that babies lose focus. As soon as my little man is a tiny bit older I plan on purchasing the MonkiSee Flash Cards. My oldest loved these, and I think that they played a huge part in him learning to recognize important things and beginning to read.

I absolutely, positively recommend MonkiSee to ANY parent wanting to teach their child all of the important stuff. You know, body parts, ABCs, animals, shapes…all of the beginner reading skills. I have spent a TON of money on other products and video’s and nothing works as well as MonkiSee, Howie and Skip! I truly do love it THAT much!!!

Win It: MonkiSee is offering one lucky winner a copy of their ABC round up!! Please use giveaway tools to enter. Chances of winning depends on entries, prize valued at approx. $20. US ONLY.

"Babies and young children will have a whole heap of fun learning the alphabet with the MonkiSee ABC Roundup. This 30 minute video keeps things lively and exciting as Howie, Skip, and friends roundup the letters from A-Z."
