Chez Marie

In trying to be healthy I want to try different food that is usually out of my comfort zone. Chez Marie came to me to do a review on their current line of food. I thought I would give it a try as it was something that I had never tried before.

I was sent all five patty flavors spicy bean, hearty hemp seed, marie’s homestyle, wholesome harvest and wow mushroom.  To be honest when I saw the flavors I was a little skeptical that it would taste very good thinking about the hemp and the lack of meat but was pleasantly surprised. Even though some of the patties are vegan, I added cheese since I don’t live a vegan lifestyle.

We cooked a few different flavors the first night. My husband tried the spicy bean as he likes both spicy and beans. I tried the Hearty Hemp Seed and Mya tried Marie’s Homestyle.  For the most part we like them. Not what we are used to but still good. I think we cooked ours a little to long as they were a little dry but practice makes perfect and the next time was better.

A few things I liked is that everything is vegetarian, gluten free, corn free and soy free. There are so many people that can benefit from eating these since they are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease.
Another awesome thing that more companies should be is that they are non-GMO verified.  This is huge these days and is really something to be proud of. For more information about non-GMO please check out this link:  http://www.nongmoproject.org/learn-more/what-is-gmo/

Please check out their site and find out where to find their products. As always follow on facebook and twitter and pinterest for awesome ideas.
