Drum and Freeze Dried Organic Baby Food Contest from NurturMe!

Time passed so fast and now my little guy is a regular baby food eater. I cannot even believe we are here already!! We all want to give our children the best in baby food, right? I mean in a perfect world we would all be Susie homemaker, in the kitchen making fresh baby food daily. However, this is not the reality of the world we live in. Many Moms work, and if you do stay home, that is a full time job as well. So, while researching the next best thing to homemade baby food, I ran across NurturMe. They were also kind enough to agree to send me a sample kit for review.

Drum and freeze dried foods. Initially, I thought- hmmm freeze dried, powdered baby food- this CANNOT be better for my baby then traditional baby food. So, being a little research queen that I am, I learned that actually I was so wrong. Not only does freeze or drum dried foods taste better and retain more color, but because they are not heated to insanely high temperature, they also retain more nutrients! There are also no preservatives in NurturMe, which make a huge difference to me. Many of the flavors do not even have added ingredients, but if they do, then they are organic. Alright, I can live with that- but will it pass my little man’s taste test, and just how hard is it to make? As it turns out, not hard at all and he loves it! I simply poured it into a bowl, added a little formula to the texture my little guy prefers, and it was ready. The most important thing is that he LOVES it. He definitely had a better reaction to this then he has even had to “regular” baby food!

The awesome thing about NurturMe, is that I add it to my older sons foods without him even knowing. Even though he is six years old, he does not do so well with the veggies. He will eat any fruit known to man, but I worry about his lack of veggie intact. Not anymore. I am sneaking the veggies into him, and it makes me feel better about my mother’s!

As you can tell, I am pretty impressed with NurturMe, and just today I just received an email that NurturMe will now be available in Target!! This makes purchasing it so much easier for Moms across the country, so be on the lookout! It is also available in other big name stores such as Walmart and CVS!
