Falling in Love with Arcopedico Footwear's Fall Lisbon Collection: Versatile Style, Comfort, Support and Ergonomic

What woman doesn't love shoes? I know I do. See, I've lost a lot of weight over the past four years and lost an entire shoe size, then when I became pregnant, my feet changed yet again.
The hardest part about all of this? I have such a hard time finding shoes. I end up with shoes that aren't comfortable, give me blisters, have no arch support, and kill my feet at the end of the day. What's worse? Nasty blisters from ill fitting shoes digging into my heels or aching arches and ruin my day.

The solution to this? Arcopédico. "Arcopédico is a high-quality, Portuguese-made women’s comfort and travel footwear, launched the Fall 2013 season with its new Lisbon Collection. Featuring fashion-forward woven and lace designs with stylish two-tone rubber soles, the new collection is made to endure the elements." Arcopédico’s shoes include patented twin-arch soles, circulation support, lightweight construction and anatomical design. The Lisbon Collection offers a true feminine flair and a fresh look for fall with lace overlays, woven twill detailing, and slight one-inch wedge soles.

About Arcopédico shoes:
Arcopédico is a high-quality women's comfort shoe brand specializing in lightweight, anatomically-designed, arch- and circulation-supporting shoes that are hand-made in Portugal. The hallmark of all Arcopédico shoes can be seen in two fundamental design principles: the "barefoot" upper—a soft, non-binding design that that conforms to the top of the foot to allow circulation and all-day comfort—and the patented, metal-free twin arch-support soles (made from molded polyurethane), which protect the foot arch and allow the distribution of bodyweight through the entire plantar surface.
In 2011, Arcopédico introduced the patented Lytech® material to the line, an innovative, ultra-light blend of polyurethane and Lycra®, which allows many of the shoes in their line to be easily packed for traveling (shoe pairs weigh as little as 10.9 oz.) and machine-washed. Arcopédico's Lytech shoes are also BioCalce Certified, introducing an eco-friendly, vegan, water-resistant and biodegradable option for Arcopédico customers.
Arcopédico shoes' lightweight, colorful, simple, and ageless designs are a versatile and smart choice for any woman's wardrobe and lifestyle. However, the lightweight, anatomically-designed and washable nature of the shoes make them especially ideal for travelers, women working on their feet, or women who suffer from chronic circulation problems, sore feet, or dropping arches.

I received these totally comfortable, absolutely amazing shoes from Arcopédico's Lisbon collection and have found my new favorite line of shoes. I already have a list of Arcopédico shoes that I can't wait to get for the holidays! The Lisbon collection wraps up in fall’s favorite fabric, the fun, fashionable and versatile woven-inspired slip-on loafer is quickly becoming an Arcopédico classic. Boasting the hipster’s must-have woven pattern and leather trim, the shoes tie in effortlessly with both casual and office attire and make a smooth transition from summer skirts to fall leggings and skinny jeans. I absolutely love the pattern; because, it gives a little unexpected surprise. Not only are they stylish, this collection is Lytech®, which are BioCalce Certified, an eco-friendly, vegan, water-resistant and biodegradable option. So, not only are these breathable, they're eco-friendly as well.

To put them to the absolute test, I wore them while out running errands with my family on the weekend two days in a row. This means multiple hours of walking, running, chasing my 2-year old, carrying heavy groceries, pushing carts and the typical errand running type things. I usually wear sneakers; because, I'm still dealing with some issues with my hips and subsequently my ankles from when I delivered my daughter and many years of being obese. Well, let me tell you- my feet did NOT hurt at all. No blisters, no seam marks, no digging into my heels, no squished toes, no swollen ankles- NADA. These shoes have a heel of  about 1 1/2", which honestly worried me a bit, as I usually have issues with shoes with any kind of elevated heel, and these didn't affect me in any way. They look great with jeans and skirts. These can be dressed up or down, depending on what you're in the mood for!
