Review: ChapStick Holiday Tins

ChapStick Holiday Tins

Like me, do y'all call all lip balm ChapStick? It's just synonyms with lip balm. There are a few brands like that. Ya sneeze; ya get a Kleenex. You want steak sauce; you get A-1. Lips chapped; you use ChapStick.

And I am a lip balm fanatic! I confess, I have no less than a dozen tubes of the stuff all around my house, purse and car. So, naturally when Paige offered the review to me I nearly tripped over myself to agree. I played it cool tho. *wink*
I was delighted when I got the box of goodies and my kids loved it too. Little C quickly claimed the tinsel and Little D claimed a tin that he was happy to shake and rattle. Mommy, however anxiously opened up a Cherry ChapStick. My fave! I have two (now three) open Cherry Chapsticks in prominate places. One in my wallet. One is in my make up bag and one in the console of my car- now that is cool enough to not melt in the Oklahoma heat.
There is just something about popping the lid off a Cherry ChapStick that brings a smile to my face. Maybe it's the instant memory it triggers of roller skating rinks with my bestie growing up in Detroit. But, I love it. Come on, Cherry ChapStick is the best. How many other lip balms can clam they are in a song, afterall.

But If I'm being honest, I do have a confession to make. Once I twisted open the Candy Cane flavor I've been forgoing my beloved Cherry. *sigh* I feel like I'm cheating on my Cherry flavor but the Candy Cane just reminds me of the upcoming holidays and I just can't help myself. Shhhhhh.

So now that the cooler weather is moving into most corners of the US, I encourage our readers to do themselves a favor . Get ya some ChapStick in these cute holiday tins and flavors. While you're at it, pick up some for stocking-stuffers or gifts for the mail carrier, dog groomer or Secret Santa.
And, by the way I vow, to never again call any other lip balm 'chapstick'. There is only one ChapStick!
