The All New ChapStick Hydration Lock Moisturizer!

You might have seen several reviews here on The Nurse Mommy about ChapStick. That is because we love it so much! I mean really, how does one survive the harsh winter months without a supply of ChapStick on hand? Even here in Florida, I need it. Come October, I start to notice the need for lotion and a lip balm or my skin is in pitiful condition. I was recently contacted to review the NEW ChapStick Hydration Lock and I love it!

Gives Lips a Fuller + Smoother Appearance
  • 8 hour moisture
  • Contains antioxidant CoQ10
  • Contains hyaluronic filling spheres
  • With a light, silky texture for instant smoothness and enhanced lip feel
Chapstick® Hydration Lock Moisturizer is clinically proven to give advanced skin moisturization. Provides overall revitalization and visibly improves the appearance of your lips.

So, I put this to the true test. I have been very slack with using my lip balm so far and my lips are rough and cracked at the moment. As soon as the ChapStick Hydration Lock was applied, it immediately felt better. This balm lasts for a LONG time, advertisements says 8 hours! I would say I still felt it on after at least four hours, and that was after lunch! The vanilla creme tastes so good, and smells great too! It does give my lips a slightly more plump appearance!

Since ChapStick is such a huge brand, the Hydration Lock is readily available in any drug store or big name merchandiser! You should definitely check it out if you lips are suffering from the premature winter time blues!!

  1. I have not tried this new Chapstick yet – it’s actually the first time I’ve heard about it. But it's these Winter months that really dry my lips out. Perfect timing! I like the 8 hour moisture.

  2. I haven't tried this one out yet either. I am going to shopping this Friday and going to get me some to try. I have tried so many and some seem to work for awhile and then it stops. The 8 hour moisture would sure be awesome. My lips get so try they begin to crack and become sore. Then it sucks as far as appearance goes as well. Thanks for the review.
