Yummi Pouch

If you have seen some of my other reviews then you know that I love baby food pouches. I came across Yummi Pouches and had to look into them. They are a reusable pouch. My first thought was “I have to try these.” I was happy when Yummi Pouch agreed to send me 4 or their Yummi Pouch
Brights.

If you haven’t heard about baby food pouches before this and you have a baby or toddler, you must try them. They are fantastic. We mainly use them when going out and about for a snack and convenience.
These Yummi pouches are great. You get to make your own food and still get to use the convenience of the pouch. The downside to using them is that you need to watch how long they are in the fridge or freezer due to being fresh. On the upside of things, your feeding your child fresh food versus some of the ones that are full of preservatives. To me the fresh is best. Write down when you made them and you’re golden. Oh and the back of the pouch has a spot to write the date and what it is with a dry erase marker.

Also if you don’t have a baggy available for a regular snack you can still use the pouch for little crackers or cereal. Instead of using the side for the puree, just use the other side where you seal it.

A few great things about the pouch:
·         New! Featuring reinforced zipper seals and thinner material for easy squeezing.
·         Reusable - Yummi Pouches can be filled over and over with healthy blended snacks.
·         Freezer safe - Make a big batch of your child's favorite blended snacks or smoothies.
·         Dishwasher safe - Simply rinse with warm water, expand the pouch and stand upside down in the dishwasher.
·         Easy to fill - Pour or spoon in food though the wide top zipper opening.
·         Holds up to 6 ounces
·         Backed by a 30-day product guarantee
·         BPA free, PVC free and phthalate free

·         Fully CPSC compliant

$14.99 may seem like a lot for only 4 pouches but if you use them often it’s really not. That’s really only about 11 premade pouches, which would only be a few days worth.  Check out Their site to see their whole line and order today. Enter the code PARTY4YP for 10% off orders when you order from http://store.yummipouch.com. It would be a perfect gift for a baby shower to throw in a basket.

  4. Love that these are reusable and freezer safe! Also love that you can write the date on with a dry erase marker. I'd probably start with apple sauce then work my way to other foods.

  5. I love that they are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. I would make mango smoothies for my little one since he can suck out of a pouch even though he doesn't use a cup yet.

  10. I love this idea and the fact that they are reusable. With baby #3 we started using the pouches out of convenience on the go but I hated the price and the waste. I'm looking forward to using it for his baby food and also for fruit purees I can send in with my daughter's school lunches.
