Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Ideas!

I have heard a lot of hype about the ugly Christmas sweater, and despite what my Moms hairdressers told her, they have become the new thing! Moms hairdressers told her I was making it up so she would look silly when I got her this new sweater for review. Whatever, hairdressers! The rage right now is throwing ugly Christmas sweater parties, and the gaudier the better!

So, I contacted Ugly Christmas Sweater a while back, and they recently sent me the Black Cardigan with lights! First off, the quality of this sweater is amazing. It is very heavy, and I have no doubt it will last for years to come! I personally love it, and my Mom does too- even if she hates to admit it. We could totally rock the Christmas parties in this thing!! It even blinks which adds an amazingly ugly touch!

"The wreath that you hang on your front door this Christmas season will most likely look lovely. And it will certainly look more festive and appropriate for the season than this Black Cardigan with Lights from UglyChristmasSweater.com. This sweater features nothing but wreaths and snowflakes on a plain black background. If you're looking for an intentionally unattractive holiday sweater to make your friends and family laugh, you need not look a bit further than this horrifying Christmas cardigan."

My personal favorite on the site is the Santa Buttcrack sweater! I would totally rock that, but alas, I knew Mom would prefer a cardigan and I got this for her (though she made me model it!)

So I was thinking about Ugly Christmas sweater parties, and I totally want to do this!! It is a bit too late to do it this year, but I think next year I am planning this. I was thinking about fabulous ideas for this, and you can purchase A Christmas Story Cookie Cutters (photo from amazon.) You can give away completely tacky door prizes, or prizes for the winner of the ugliest sweater such as FRUIT CAKE! How fantastic is that? Decorations would be easy! Just purchase every tacky Christmas thing you see at thrift stores, and add as many lights as you can fit without blowing the circuit. Ahhhhhhhhh...the possibilities. I am totally rocking this next year!
