Hip hop 50s Shop Tea Party Dress Review

I've always dreamed I was born in the 50's. To me that era brings back a certain sense if nostalgia. Women dressed classy, carried themselves like a lady but still had an inner core of strength that carried them through the hard times. I know I am probably glorifying that time period, but life just seemed a less complex then.

My love of all things 50's led me to contact Hip Hop 50's Shop to review their red and black tea party dress. I am so in love with this classically inspired dress, and it is now going to be my go to dress for all occasions! The style flatters all body types, and even looks fabulous with flats. I know it would look better with heels but as an insecure 5'9 inch woman, I do not own any. I love the length, which hits right around my knees, and the stretch material which has a little give to it. The bottom is trimmed in a beautiful lace detail, and it is perfect for church, a cruise or even a Halloween or 50's party! The red might be a little bold for a wedding, but they have a lovely blue option you could wear instead! The sizing seems to run a tad small. I am usually a size 12 or large, but needed an XL in this dress because of the buttoned top portion.

I've received nothing but compliments on this dress, and the material is very high quality! It is one dress I know will still look just as beautiful in the years to come! The classic, timeless style means it will still fit in in those years as well!

Hop Hop 50s shop also offers other fantastic outfits from the 50s! There are poodle skirts and entire 1950s poodle skirt kids for yourself or your daughter. There are also 50's inspired blouses with poodles embroidered. There are saddle shoes, and petticoats...pretty much anything you need to look like you truly stepped out of the 1950's. There are so many lovely dresses, I would love to own them all! From more casual to really dressy. There is something for every nostalgic girl like me!
