A few weeks ago I wrote about how I was going to
start using Olay’s Regenerist Luminous products, sponsored by She Speaks/P&G
#LuminousGlow. Well I started using them the day I got them. I sometimes can be
bad about steps and doing them every day, but I did with this as I know how
important skin is and well, I’m now 30 so I really need to focus. I was really
happy how easy the steps are and really doesn’t take a lot of time once you get
the routine down.
Step 1
Use the Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser.
I love the little micro beads. During the winter I have very weird skin. I
think it’s because it’s so cold here and it gets dry. It makes me feel like I’m
getting all the dead skin off my face and really getting it clean. I love the
way it smells and it’s really easy to wash off.
Benefits as stated on the tube:
- Brightness dull and uneven skin
- Leaves skin feeling smooth, conditioned and even textured
- Hydrates to instantly illuminate skin and recapture healthy-looking, youthful luminosity
Did
the cleanser do what it says? I think so. I noticed that my skin felt better
only after a few days of use, and has continued to feel great.
Step
2
Moisturize
with OlayRegenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream. When it comes to moisturizer I have
found that a little goes a long way. When I was little I always took a ton and
then all this extra on my hands. I start with a tiny amount, and if I need more
I take a little more at a time. This way I don’t waste anything.
Benefits as stated on the box:
- Reduces the appearance of dark spots over time
- Brightens, exfoliates, smoothes
- Regenerates skin’s appearance to help recapture healthy-looking youthful luminosity
Does it do what is says? Again I have to say yes. It definitely makes my
skin feel smooth, especially after I have used the cleanser. The cream is kind
of a peach color and has a really nice fragrance to it. Not overpowering like
some, just nice and delicate.
Step 3
Treat with Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle CorrectingHydraswirl. Just like the moisturizer, a little goes a long way.
With this serum a very little bit goes a long way. You only use this around
your eyes so you don’t need very much at all. The bottle is pretty neat. It’s a
bunch of swirls which stands out from other products and makes it look unique.
Benefits as stated on the box:
- Instantly brightens eye area by reducing the appearance of dark circles of vibrant, healthy-looking skin
- Hydrates to nourish under eye area for a firmer, younger-look
- Does it do what it says: Another yes. I haven’t been sleeping as well lately so I have a lot of bags under my eyes which makes me look tired and of course older too. I have noticed that the dark areas are less and less.
Overall I love the Olay products. They all smell so good and don’t leave
that oily feeling on my skin. I do recommend that you go buy these if you are
in the market for some really good skin products.
