open road snacks popletts

I need to eat something every few hours since I can’t eat a lot in one sitting so snacks are big in our house. I was recently asked by OpenRoad Snacks to check out their new snack called Poplets. I honestly didn’t know what they were but I know Open Road Snacks has great products so I said yes.
Honestly I didn’t really know what to expect when I received the box. I mean I looked at the website and everything but I still didn’t know. I received a box of 8 bags with all 3 flavors in it. Sea Salt & Butter, Chile Picante and Asiago Ranch.

Ok so what is a Poplet? The best way for me to describe them is like a corn nut but way softer. You don’t have to worry about chipping a tooth on a poplet (a good thing in my book). Open Road Snacks took the kernel and baked it to ensure that you get the most out of every crunch.

Even though they are gluten free, whole grain, natural, but free and NonGMO Kernals, they are delicious. Normally i’m not a huge ranch fan, but the Asiago Ranch is really good. All 3 flavors are really good. The Chile Picante has a little heat but not a ton, so you can still enjoy the taste.  The Sea Salt & Butter is not over powering in either salt or butter, but has the right amount to balance each other.

I shared with my family and they loved them, even Mya liked the Chili Picante and she’s even picker when It comes to food than I am. The bags look small but there is so much inside. It's like a never ending yumminess. This is such a perfect size to throw in a bag for on the go. I know we will be packing them in the future.

Open Road Snacks is giving one lucky winner a box of 8 to try as well. Please use the giveaway tools below to enter.
