Survival Straps Medical Alert Bracelet

I have many friends who wear a medical alert bracelet. I didn’t really think anything of them until a few years ago. I have a few medical conditions that don’t require a ID but would be a really good idea. I thought about getting one then kept forgetting. One of my problems is that I can’t wear most metal. I break out, so the options were limited. I came across Survival Straps one day and noticed that they don’t have metal in them (as one of the choices) so I knew that would be great. I was thrilled when they agreed to send one to me for review.

Survival Straps is a company that is based here in the US and makes everything here as well. They take pride in helping support the troops and other great charities.

Like I said above, the first thing that drew me to Survival Straps was that they had an option with no metal.  The bracelets are made out of Paracord so they really hold up well. Plus in an emergency you can unravel it to use. If that does happen just call Survival Straps and tell them what happened and they will replace it for you. Who does that nowadays? I think that’s awesome.

Ordering your bracelet is very easy. I found the hardest part was deciding what colors to choose.  You can choose 2 different colors. You do have an option of a 3rd color for a center line. There is an added cost but only $2 which isn’t bad at all. The colors I chose were royal blue for the inside, the edge a Caribbean blue and I did get a center line of teal. Since I can’t do metal I chose the adjustable black nylon 6-6 shackle clevis pin.

You get 5 lines with 15 characters on each line to put the most important medical information. I put my name on the first line then my medical condition and allergies. For the size you can choose from 5” to 8.5. If you are not sure on your size, there are instructions on how to correctly measure your wrist.
I think the only negative thing about the bracelet is that it’s bulky, but that’s very minor and I will get used to wearing it when I’m out.

When I told a few of my friends I was getting the medical alert bracelet they were so thankful as one of them is an EMT and knows my crazy medical history and thought it was the best idea and could save my life one day.

They have more than just medical alert, they have a ton of other products. I recommend you check them out today.

  12. The thing I love the most about this company is that they support the military. The military is near and dear to my heart as many of my family members have served our country....also my hubby was medically retired from the USMC after serving our country for 24 1/2 years..... So, love that they support and donate part of their proceeds to support our nations heroes. I'd love to win one of these bracelets for my hubby. It would be a great way for him to have his medical issues made known in case of emergency, etc and also love that the bracelet itself can be used in an emergency situation. Thanks for the chance to win
