Jamberry Nail Wraps

I used to be that girl who never left home without make-up on, hair did, nails perfectly polished and never ever would I go out with chipped toe nails. Then...I had kids. I haven't even had a manicure since before my last baby was born. So, almost two years ago to the day! It's not that I don't care about what I look like now. I just have different priorities and my time is not my own. IF I do find time to paint my nails, it never fails that I do something that smudges them before they are completely dry or they chip and peel far too soon for the effort (and precious time) I've put into them.
Enter Jamberry.
My friend started selling these nail wraps and the second I seen them my little heart went pitter patter. Girly! I needed some girly frills. I am a mom of boys (and I wouldn't have it any other way) but sometimes I long for the glitter and flowers I've abandoned.

Once I received my order, I sequestered myself in  my room and left the boys with daddy for father son bonding time. And I set about prettifying myself.

I admit, the first couple nails I did, it was sorta awkward. I definitely had a learning curve but I soon developed a system.

You can see by my middle and ring finger that I didn't quite get it right. But my consultant said to just reheat them in a day or two, after my nails had grown out, and stick them back down. I had my doubts, but it worked!

These were so fun and felt like a real treat to me. I'd say they stayed on for about six to eight days before I started noticing some lifting. But to be fair, I am rough on my hands. I am always cooking, cleaning and using my nails as tools. I could have reheated the wraps and pushed them back into place too. And they certainly last longer than any nail polish. I also did my toes three weeks ago and they are still as good as the day I put them on. In my opinion, if for no other reason, Jamberries are a MUST for summer toes!

I am ordering some more Jamberry nail wraps for when my niece comes out and we are going to do mani/pedis. These would be great for any girl or lady functions. Sleep overs, baby showers, bridal showers or just girls night. They are reasonably priced with dozens of options from flashy and flirty to conservative.

You can get at least two nails per strip, or more depending on the length of your nails so each sheet could do a number of manicures. You know me, I'm always looking for value and these have the value plus fun factor.

Here is a step by step to show how easily they are applied.

You can order your Jamberry nail wraps here AND buy three get one free. BONUS! Oh, and another way to earn free swag?? Host a Jamberry Party! You can make margaritas and get the girls together for a mani/pedi party or even host a party online. No muss, no fuss.
