Belli Skincare: Safe but Effective Skin Care for Pregnant Women!

I am religious about a proper skin care routine. You see, as a child I was exposed to a woman who had the most beautiful skin under the sun at close to 60 years old. When my mother asked her about this, she told her she never went to bed in makeup and always, ALWAYS moisturized. Even as a 10 year old girl, I took this advice to heart because I knew I wanted lovely skin like her some day, and I am religious about a good cleanser, an occasional exfoliater, and moisturizer. Even though I love my skin care, and am somewhat of a "product junkie" when I am pregnant or trying to get pregnant, I do worry about the safety of many of the products I use!!

Right now, we have OFFICIALLY (eekkkksss!) started trying for baby #3. Not to jinx ourselves, but it never seems to take long for us to get pregnant, so I am now looking at chemicals and searching for safer alternatives to my favorite products. Belli Pregnancy contacted me JUST IN THE NICK of time, and offered to send me face wash and pre-treatment scrub. Both of which are amazing, and contain no harmful chemicals!! I will be purchasing the acne-control spot treatment on payday as well!! I love Belli, love the company and the fact that they stand behind their safe products, and believe the spot treatment will definitely help with my acne prone skin.

Anti-Blemish Facial Wash:
As you know, during pregnancy, when your hormones are raging....you often have breakouts. Well, I have breakouts without pregnancy, because...well hormones rage with women all of the time! The Anti-Blemish Face Wash is just amazing. Not only does it smell nice...a nice soft scent, but it also cleanses my skin super well and does not leave it feeling dried out at all. I love that it takes care of blemishes, but does not over dry my skin like many common acne brands do and it also avoids the use of many common acne fighting ingredients that are not really safe for use during pregnancy.

• Features lactic acid to cleanse and gently exfoliate acne prone skin
• FREE OF salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide-- common acne fighting ingredients that should be avoided during pregnancy
• Contains lemon peel oil, a natural anti-bacterial and skin brightener
• With green tea extract and cucumber, both are rich in antioxidants

Fresh Start Pre-Treatment Scrub
For starters, this scrub smells amazing!! The scent alone gives me a little booster, and lifts my spirit some. I am a huge fan of peppermint essential oil and have found myself smelling my bottle from time to time, so the light peppermint scent of this scrub is amazing to me! It gently exfoliates my skin when I use it a few times a week, and when combined with the Anti-Blemish Facial Wash it leaves my skin seriously soft, and that is BEFORE I use my moisturizer!!

• Features green tea extract and ginseng, both are rich in antioxidants
• Helps prepare skin for the application of other Belli products

Overall, I am so thrilled with the line of products at Belli Pregnancy. At only $22 and $24 for each product, it is much cheaper than other products I have seen targeted at pregnant women!! It is affordable, and luxurious feeling, and I highly recommend to women who are pregnant, trying to conceive, or just women that are concerned about chemicals in the products they are using!!
