Guardian Angel smart shockproof outlet

I am lucky and Fallon for the most part stays away from the outlets. With that said we still have safety precautions in place to help prevent her from getting hurt. I put the plastic covers over them and hope she won’t pry them off. Guardian Angel contacted me asking if I wanted to try their shockproof outlet. It sounded very interesting so I figured why not.

When it comes to installing something that doesn’t involve a computer, I usually have issues with it. The outlet said easy installation and takes just a matter of a minuet. When I read that, i’m like, yea i’ll be the judge of that. Guardian was right, it was super easy. All I had to do was unscrew the outlet cover and screw in the new one. Easy, peasy just like they said.

I plugged my air purifier into the outlet and it wouldn’t turn on. I thought I messed something up already, but then it came on. I realized that it was off because my hand was still in front of the pugin. The outlet is motion sensitive and will turn off when you get close to touch it.

I think this is brilliant, because if a child gets too close to it, it won’t work thus they won’t get injured. The power is on when you need it and off when they get to close. What more can you ask for when it comes to something like this.

For 39.95 you can buy a 2 pack of these outlets. I think they are worth every penny and i’m going to look at buying them for Fallon’s room as well.

Make sure you follow Guardian Angel on facebook and twitter for updates and more products. This would make for a great addition in a baby shower gift basket.

  1. I like this outlet. It is so important to have outlets that are safe when a baby is around.
