"Be a Lady, Shave like a Man!"
I shave every single night! I know a lot of my lady friends that think I am insane for this, but I simply cannot stand the feel of prickles while I am trying to go to sleep! As you can imagine, because of this, I go through tons of disposable razors through the year! At $8-$9 a pack, that really adds up! Recently, Van Der Hagen reached out and asked me to review their Traditional Safety Razor.
This razor is VERY heavy duty, just like in the old days. In fact, as I was shaving I imagined what it would be back in the 1950s shaving me legs (ha!) The short handle allows me to have better control over the razor, and adding the blades was really simple! I was a little intimidated by the razor at first and very gently took my first stroke because I did not know if it would nick me, but it didn't! Needless to say, I began to shave like I normally would and had no issues at all! It left my legs feeling smooth! Even without the "moisture strip" that comes on my razors. The razor itself is available on Amazon for $24.97 so it is a fraction of the price of other traditional razors and I love that you can get replacement blades at Target for $3.99! It is convenient and MUCH MORE affordable that the disposable option I have been using!
Our best safety razor is made from stainless steel and is gold plated. Its handle is made especially long for people with large hands and are used to shaving with traditional razors.
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 or 4 shaves most of the razor you have to throw out. Because after 3 or 4 shaves they start irritating and can't provide smooth shave. But if you use a safety razor you can use for a long time and some best safety razor you can use for your life time. Because you can change the blades of a safety razor very easily.
