Kohls Cares

Fallon loves reading books and I love reading them to her. I recently had the opportunity to work with Kohl’s Cares. Kohl’s takes 100% of the net profits and donates them. When I was asked to help out and look at their books, i couldn’t help but say yes.

We received 2 of the Little Critter books and 2 of the little critter stuffed animals. Fallon saw the animals and grabbed them right away as her baby. We then read Jack and the Beanstalk. Not only is it a cute book but it’s also a lift the flap book. This makes it more engaging for kids. Fallon really liked to open the flaps on the pages to see what was under them. She seemed to get more interaction from the story than a regular book.

The other book we received was the Little Critters Bedtime Storybook. Even though this one isn’t a lift the flap book like the other one, Fallon still enjoyed looking at the pictures. She pointed out that she has the stuffed version of the boy and girl.

Both books we received are very well written and the illustration really keeps children wanting to turn the page to look at the next picture.

Childrens books can get really expensive, especially when they help a charity. Kohl’s Cares has each book and animal set at only $5 a piece. So for $10 you can get an animal and a book. To me that is a great price. Not only are you getting a great deal, but like I mentioned above 100% of the net profits are donated. Kohl’s Cares really does care. Since 2000 $231 million dollars has been raised for kid’s health and education initiative.

The next time you are in Kohl’s or shopping online, remember these books. They make great gifts for your children or a family member/friends children.
