Laura Geller Balance and Brighten Review

As you know, I love my makeup! I love trying different looks and styles of makeup, but a great look is really dependent on a nice foundation. I kind of see it like a canvas that you can paint a portrait on. As you can see, my natural skin is very fair and very freckly. I kind of love my freckles so I do not like to cover them, but I do want to cover the ruddy complexion and acne I am prone to. For this reason, I love a great powdered foundation! I just received a fantastic one from Laura Geller called Balance and Brighten!

"Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation is a unique Baked powder that can be used on its own or combined with your favorite base for a flawless finish. This newly formulated foundation is mineral oil and paraben free. It is also loaded with the age-fighting, anti-oxidant protection of Centella Asiatica and White Tea. Designed with swirls of soft tan and cream, its luxuriously smooth and silky texture helps offset ruddiness, brightens sallow tones, and balances most complexions."

I love the silky feel that this leaves on my skin when I apply it! It is perfect for balancing out the ruddiness in my skin tone, and is great for balancing complexions. It goes on very smooth, and provides a nice medium coverage! I have found that it works better with a brush application, over a sponge. A sponge tends to apply a little more cakey. It is also very long lasting. I wear it to work and I work 9+ hour days, and am moving around a lot, and it stays put throughout the day! Also, when using brush application, a little of this product truly goes a long way!! It is at a medium price-point ($33) but with as little product as you need, it will last for a very long time!!

I highly recommend this product to people that have uneven skin tone like I do! I think you will be very impressed with the results! It looks even better when I have all of my other makeup applied but I wanted to show you the TRUE finish!
