Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth Headset

We all know not to text and drive and also to use a hands free device while talking and driving. I am very used to talking on my phone with it on speaker while driving, but it can be hard to hear sometimes due to traffic and other sounds. Bluetooth headsets were created to solve that problem. Plantronics asked if I would try out their new Voyager Edge bluetooth headset and I was more than happy to say yes.

Bluetooth headsets don’t just come in handy when you are driving but can be used for everyday use as well. I walk around using a cane, even in my own house. Since I have the cane, that automatically takes one had away to do anything with. So having the headset in, helps me still be able to get other things done while being on the phone.

I think one of the coolest features for the Voyager Edge is that it announces the caller to you and you can tell it to answer or ignore. If you choose ignore it will ignore the call and let you go back to what you were doing if you were listening to music or watching a movie.

To charge it all you have to do is pop the headset into the port that comes with and plug in with a micro USB cord. Super easy and space saving.

I have had headsets that only do phone calls and not anything else. So I was very happy when I can listen to everything on my phone. Another great feature is that it fits very comfortably in my ear. I don’t have to take it out to get relief (I have had that happen before and it was horrible). When you turn it on it will tell you how much talk time you have left. I have never had that before. I always had to judge based how much I thought I used it.

Other great features:

  • Multiple microphones and signature Plantronics audio technology eliminate disruptive background noise
  • Charging case enables up to 16 hours talk time (up to 6 hours without case)
  • Responsive sensors can automatically answer calls as you place the headset on your ear
  • Tap and pair with NFC-enabled smartphones
  • During setup, choose a language for commands and alerts
  • Compatible with wideband audio for use with HD Voice-enabled smartphones

The Voyager is a little expensive at $129.99, but it’s one of the best headsets I have ever used and in my opinion is very much worth the money. Check them out today on their site, and you can see a demo of how it works.

  1. I enjoy the Plantronics headset accessories as it helps me save more money. If you have noticed that everything around you has a tendency to depreciate, for example if you are using a headset every day there comes a time when they break down or show symptoms that there is something wrong with this headset due to the wear and tear and then you come to know the kind of headset that you have doesn’t have any spare parts available in the market.........
