Sheer Cover Makeup

I love makeup and I’m usually game to to try just about any makeup brand. Sheer Cover asked me to try out some of their makeup up. I have heard great things about them so I was really excited to do so.

Base Perfector Primer

I normally only wear primer on my eyes since shadows seem to fade quickly on my skin. I fell in love with the primer the first time I used it. You really only need a very little amount. It spreads like a moisturizing lotion, so a little goes a long way. It feels very light and airy, not like I have a ton of lotion on my face.

Perfect Shade Mineral Foundation

After I put the primer on, I then put a light coat of the Perfect Shade Mineral Foundation. This is a powder foundation. Mineral powders are amazing. Before you use them thought, you do need to get brushes. In my opinion, the better the brush the better it will feel on your skin as it is being applied. I go around my face a couple of times to make sure I have everything covered.

Sun Kissed Bronzing Minerals

I found that when you are using a bronzing product you want to only use a little bit. You can always add to it. Make sure you are smiling when you apply. That way it has a natural look and not just a little circle. You can always use a dab on your chin and forehead. Just a tad though for definition.

Conceal & Brighten Trio

For the Conceal & Brighten, you only need to use it in the areas that need it. This is not for an all over look, at least for me it’s not. I applied it on the corners of my eyelids and also under my eyes. Those are the two areas that I need it the most. I found it very easy to put on and it stayed on too.

Lightning Mascara

I was lucky that I was born with natural dark, long and thick eyelashes so I really don’t need to wear mascara. Even though I don’t have to, I still love to wear it. I have gotten to the point that when I don’t wear it, I feel weird. I really like Sheer Cover’s mascara. It is very easy to apply, doesn’t clump or run all over. The small wand is very easy to handle, that way i don’t get mascara all over my face as I’m applying it.

Lash Extending Fibers

I have been hearing a ton about the lash Extending Fibers and I was excited that I was able to try it out. Now, like I said above, I don’t need this, BUT I will use it anyway because who doesn’t like long pretty eyelashes right? It kind of felt like I was putting cotton on my eyelashes. After I was done applying, I did notice that my lashes seemed longer than they were with just the mascara. I will definitely be using the fibers the next time I go out that I want a little extra.

I also received some brushes that made applying the makeup a ton easier. The brushes are great quality and will hold up to everyday use.

I noticed that Sheer Covers uses plain white for their makeup containers. While I think it looks really neat it does also create a problem for me. I have to turn the containers upside down in order to read which one they are instead of seeing or reading on the top of the container. This is a minor issues as the makeup is really good.
