Luminess Air Eye Makeup

A few months ago I had the opportunity to review the Luminess Air Epic System. Since then Luminess has asked if I would take a look at their airbrush eye shadows. Since I loved the Epic system, I definitely wanted to try their shadows.

If you want to see my review on the Epic System you can go HERE

Luminess Air sent me their Shabby Chic set which includes a deep brown and a deep blue color. Even though I have gotten really good at using the airbrush face make up, I wasn’t used to doing eye make up with it. It took me a few tries to get the color I really wanted, but after that I knew what I was doing.

If you want just a little color and contrast just go over the eyelid once or twice with the airbrush. If you are looking for a more dramatic look then let the first spray dry and build up the layers until you get the color you are looking for.

You don’t use more than a drop or two of the eye shadow so it last a really long time. I love eye makeup so I have a ton of shadows in my bag from all different companies. Price wise, these two bottles cost $18, so they are about $9 a piece, which really isn’t bad at all, especially when you don’t use much at a time.

You can buy the shadows by themselves or if you want in sets that Luminess Air has put together. If you don’t have one of the Airbursh systems, I highly recommend that you get one. There are many to choose from at all different price points. I’m sure it would make for a great Christmas present.

    1. It's easier than you think. Doesn't take long to get it down.

  2. Wow, I've never heard of air eye makeup but it sounds cool! I think this would take a lot of practice to perfect but it sounds like in the end it will be well worth it. I'm going to look into it!
