I got the bright idea the other day to make hand turkey shirts! We always make hand turkeys and hang them up, but by purchasing fabric markers we made fun shirts that can be worn now and for years to come (in the case of my older son because he grows more slowly now.) Both shirts cost less than $15 to make, and now I have the fabric markers to make other cool things (Christmas trees at Christmas-time!)
My son is proudly sporting his new shirt at school today.
TIP: Make sure you iron or put these in the dryer at the hottest setting before you wash. I did not read that direction and washed all the color out the first time around and had to redo the shirts.
