Littlest Pet Shop Party

I remember playing with Littlest Pet Shop when I was younger, so when I had the opportunity to receive some and play with Fallon, I definitely wanted to.  I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Littlest Pet Shop. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.

Fallon invited 3 of her friends over for the Littlest Pet Shop party. She had to include her best friend Hadley of course and then two newer friends from day care Titus and Bethany.  We were sent 2 Blyth Bedroom sets and the large pet shop set.

As soon as the kids arrived they wanted to start playing right away. Unfortunately with these sets, you can’t just start playing. You have to assemble everything first. You definitely need an adult to help assemble the kits as there are a lot of steps. I know this isn’t a new thing for children’s toys, just wanted to let you know that it’s not ready to go straight from the box.  Once it’s set you are are good to go and the kids can play with it until their hearts content.

All 4 kids seemed to love playing with the people and the animals that came along with the sets. Of course my child kept “breaking” the women. her legs come apart from her body. All you have to do is snap them back together, but Fallon thought that would be a fun game to do over and over.

We were also send a DVD of The Littlest Pet Shop, which was so cute and the kids loved it. It wasn’t super long so it held their attention. They played with the sets at the same time as they were watching.

There are a lot of parts to the sets, so please help your children  assemble it and if they are younger children, watch when they are playing so they don’t try to eat any parts and choke. I’m so glad that we were sent enough kits that they could take them home. Hadley got one and since Bethany and Titus are siblings, they took one home to share.

I love that kids can use their imagination with these toys rather than just being glued to the TV, tablet or computer screen. Christmas is coming up and I would definitely consider this for your kids, or other children on your gift list.
