nuts.com great snacks

There is no shortage of snacks in my house. They range from the healthy to the not so healthy. Nuts.com asked if I was interested in trying out some of their items. I have heard a lot about them, so there was no way I was saying no to this.

I love apples, and we always have a few in the fridge or in a basket on the table. So I was excited when one of the items nuts.com sent me were their Organic Dried Apples. Now, I have had dried apples before and they were good but sometimes to crunchy. I like them soft and chewy if they are dried. The apples from nuts.cm did not disappoint me at all. Fallon loved them as well. I bet if I just gave her the bag she would eat them all. There was no way I was doing that. one, she doesn’t need that much in one sitting and well two, those were mine and I wanted some. The organic are a little higher in price than their regular dried apples, but I think they are worth the few extra dollars. Seriously, they are so good. I wish I had a few more bags (wink wink, to any friends that are reading and want to get me anything)

My best friend is the only person that I can think of that doesn’t like gummy candy. I think it’s rather odd. What’s not to like? Anyway, I was sent a bag of the gummy pumpkins. At $3.99/pound you can’t go wrong. I do have a weird thing and I don’t like anything yellow or lime flavored when it comes to candy. So all the yellow ones went to my family. Even though they were laughing at me, the still took the candy and loved it. You can buy the pumpkins any time of year. No rule out there that you can only enjoy around Halloween time.

I love pretzels, they are always a good salty snack. I honestly have never had one dipped in yogurt. I’m glad that nuts.com sent me a bag to try, because I probably wouldn’t have ordered it on my own. I liked it. It was a great blend of the salty (yumm) and the sweet (yumm). I think the only thing that would have made it better would be to add a little chocolate. This is another treat that you can eat year round. Please remember to keep this one in the fridge due to the yogurt.

I have always like pumpkin seeds. It is just an added benefit that they are also high in protein. I was sent a bag of the unsalted pumpkin seeds. I thought they were really good. I received the no shell variety so they are a little different than what I am used to, but still good none the less. 9 grams of protein per serving, you can’t really go wrong with that. You can just eat them plain like I usually do, or you can add them to food like a salad. I do like a little salt on mine so when I was eating them plain, I added just a little bit to help enhance the taste. I know some people can’t do a lot of salt for health reasons, but for me I actually need more, so I added some without any guilt.

In addition to the 4 that I tried, Nuts.com has way more to offer. You can pretty much satisfy any sweet tooth or salt lover with their options. They carry Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Organic options and more. Check them out today for yourself or for a gift. Remember, Christmas is coming up, and a few bags would make for a great gift.

  1. I used to get things from nuts.com all the time. It was fun to have your order come in the mail. I'd still be doing it if I could afford it.
