Cutting Back on Chemicals where we can with Little Twig and Eco-Me!

I am sure that if you have read this blog for any time at all, you know that we all prefer natural options in our cleaning and personal care products. This is especially true for me because we lived in a home with toxic drywall for years so I feel we have been exposed to higher than usual amounts of chemicals, so I cut back on using chemicals everywhere possible. We do a lot of essential oils and chemical free body washes, soaps and cleaning products. Recently I was contacted to try out a couple products that hold true to my "no chemical" rule and I am excited to tell you about them because they are pretty awesome!

Little Twig Lavender Baby Wash- This very nice smelling body wash is made with lavender and camomile, so it is great for bedtime baby baths. My son is now an almost two year old and we still love using this on him. It cleans him very well and leave him smelling nicely. It lathers well and works great as a shampoo on him as well. It is also the perfect body wash for those little ones with sensitive skin which is true for my little man. He has not broken out or had any issues at all with it. I have also found that it leaves his skin extra soft. The most important thing about this body wash is: i it is completely free of phthalates, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, nut, soy or wheat.

Eco-Me Natural Plant Extract Dish Detergent-  This is a reasonable priced dish detergent that smells incredible nice (I received lemon scent) and washes dishes really well! It is non-toxic so its safe to use on babies dishes but works great for the entire family. It is made from natural ingredients and has vinegar mixed in to reduce germs, and is totally free of sulfates, phthalates, petro-chemicals, ethoxylate, 1,4 Dioxane, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, synthetic fragrances and harmful preservatives. It works incredibly well, but you have to watch how much you pour out because it is more of a liquidy detergent and you might accidentally use more than intended, and trust me, a little does the job!
