Considering I have probably been exposed to more toxins than the average person both professionally and personally (long story) I thought it might be a good idea. At first I tried with coconut oil because I hear that works well, but the flavor and consistency immediately got to me and I was unable to "pull" for more than a minute. After that failed experience, I gave up on the idea and decided it was not for me. Then I had the chance to review GuruNanda and this has changed my perspective of oil pulling! This oil taste better, and is not quite as thick as coconut oil. With its ever so slightly mint flavor, I find it much easier to "pull." Though I am not yet able to pull as long as I need to, I am able to do this while I am blow drying my hair which is a good 6-7 minutes.
Now that I have been oil pulling with GuruNanda for about a week. Overall, I just feel better. My skin looks more refreshed and I seem to have more energy. I expect to see more results over time when I am able to pull longer and continue it for a month or more. Maybe I have fallen on the Oil Pulling bandwagon, but I can tell a difference in my body and I will continue this.
