Time for Tea and Chocolate

My moms birthday is coming up and I wanted to get her something that she would really like. With it being so close to Christmas I try to make them separate. So I put together a gift basket that i’m sure she will like. Tea, and chocolate. Doesn’t that just sound amazing?

I had never heard of Organic India, but I’m really glad that I have gotten a chance to try it (sorry mom, I took some).

Organic India's Tulsi - Holy Basil Formula and certified organic Tulsi Teas include three varieties of Tulsi leaves: Rama, Vana, and Krishna. Each variety has a slightly different look, taste and smell and when combined, create a perfectly balanced herbal infusion with an array of health benefits including”:
  • Support for the immune system
  • Increased stamina and endurance
  • Relief and protection from everyday stress
  • Abundant antioxidants.
I was actually surprised that I liked the Masala Chai, since I’m not a big chai drinker. It was really smooth, and I’m a little sad that i’m giving the rest of the box to my mom, but that’s ok I know she will love it. You can buy boxes of the teas for a great price of under $5 or if you want a gift set Organic India as great choices for those as well including a beautiful wood gift box and 100 tea packets.

You can’t drink tea without the tea cups. stolcarina makes the most unique cups call Teacarina that I have seen. It is kind of difficult to explain but you can actually play music on these cups. Plus you can drink your tea at the same time. Watch the video clip and it will make more sense.

The cups are beautiful and perfect for any avid tea drinker, and well they are fun to play with. A set of 4, seems a little expensive at $56 but I have seen some tea cups at that price for just one cup, so it really isn’t that bad. Plus, the uniqueness of the music is worth it. My daughter saw me looking at these and asked if we could get a set for us and not just for grandma. I’m really thinking about it.

sltocarina has more than just the tea cups. Check them out today and order as a gift. I bet it will start a very interesting conversation for whoever you give it to.

No gift basket is complete without some chocolate. Lindt LINDOR has some of the best truffles. While i’m giving this bag to my mom, I had to go buy a bag for myself as well. My favorite is their peanut butter truffle. I could seriously just sit and eat them all day if I could get away with it.

There are a ton of flavors to choose from, you can get sea salt, white chocolate, milk chocolate and of course like I said my favorite peanut butter. A small bag is very reasonable at only a few dollars. This way you can get one or 2 bags and throw one into a gift basket and keep the other for yourself.

  1. i used to LOVE the white lindt truffles. they're the ones that are supposed to be the absolute worst for you. haha but of course i like them best. that's so nice of you to try to keep presents separate. I would hate in the past when someone would mention they're just going to combine valentines and my bday together.. but now that i'm older i don't mind as much :P

  3. I really wish I liked tea, it's suit me so well I think. My fiance loves it and trying out all the different flavours. Now chocolate on the other hand, that is something I love! Lindt truffles are gorgeous! We always have a box of them for Christmas time.

  4. This is a cool gift idea, this time of year there really isn't anything more comforting than a hot cup of tea and chocolates. Unlike you I really like chai so I think I would of enjoyed this tea. I've never tried Lindt truffles but those are really pretty for gifting. I'm sure they are yummy too.

  5. I love pretty much all kinds of tea, but English Breakfast is my favorite--there's nothing more comforting after a long day (or nothing better to start a long day!). My mom loves tea and chocolate, so I could see this gift being a big hit as well. I wouldn't mind getting a set like that, either!

  7. I love tea and that looks like top notch tea :) I also love lindt, one of my favorites! I never really thought of having them together though, I always thought of tea with biscuits or something of that nature. My favorite tea is probably black tea or jasmine tea. Great post and very informative as well!

  8. Mmm, tea and chocolate has to be one of my all-time favorite flavor combinations! I am originally from Russia where people love to drink freshly brewed tea every, so reading your post made me really miss home. On that note, it's time to go and brew myself a cup ;)

  9. I'm not going to lie I am not much of a tea drinker, but my mom is also a fan. I must look into the Organic India Tulsi brand! Also Lindor chocolate is literally one of the best brands out so rich!
