Win $50 Essentially Ferina

If you have read anything on this blog, you know just how important essential oils are in my and Katrina's lives! They play a big role in our healthcare, and our medicine cabinet, and we both try to use oils as often as possible! I received quite a few different oils and samples of products from Essentially Ferina and I am in love with them all! Sit back, and enjoy the review because I am doing a nice giveaway at the end!

I received three essential oil blends in roll on bottles. The first thing I love about these oils is the pricing. At $7.00 or 2/$14, you cannot beat that for a quality blend. I also love the packaging. Because they use real herbs and seeds in the oil bottle, it makes for a very pretty roller ball. These oils are already mixed with a base oil, so you can apply them topically without dilution.

Core/Focus: This oil was the most important oil that I wanted to receive. We have a similiar blend from a big name oil company, but it is not diluted so my son often complains of it burning, and it seems that a roller ball would be made to apply topically immediately. Anyway, I really wanted a blend that I could send with him to school and not be in a complete panic that he would lose it or it would break. I don't know about you but $30 down the drain sends me into a panic, but $7 is a little more manageable if something happens. This oil is very effective. The scent is not quite as strong as his other, but as I mentioned it is a mixed bottle. Without my sons focus oils, he has a really hard time paying attention at school, and I am now sending this oil with him in his backpack to apply immediately before a test, or when he is doing work that requires intense focus. Frankincense is my favorite focus oil and plays a big part in this blend, along with Rosemary which helps memory and Grapefruit which helps to keep you awake and stimulates your brain.

Lavender Bliss: This blend is for my almost two year old. Of course, at this age he is fighting sleep..most toddlers do in their mission to assert their independence. I get him every time with lavender oil though, and I love this beautiful blend. It smells just as beautiful as it looks (with lavender buds mixed right in) and when I apply it to my sons feet, he almost always settles down and relaxes and eventually goes to sleep! You can often find me cuddled right up smelling him and the lavender/french lavender blend though!

Zen: Ah I must admit this one is for me.  I have a tendency to be a type A, highly stressed out person and every now and then I just need to chill out! Zen oils helps me do this! I apply this to my wrists at least once a day and you can often find me sniffing them because this helps me keep my priorities straight and to "take a chill pill." The lavender and Veviter both help to relax and destress but the Grapefruit oil keeps your awake. After all, I want to relax, but not go to sleep! The Veviter helps to dispel anger or other harsh feelings. I just love this oil, and love the scent of it. I think it makes an absolutely wonderful perfume for me and my fellow type A personalities!

Sponge Bar Soap: I also received the mountain lake Sponge-Bar. This soap suds very well, and has a very nice clean, unisex scent! I love that there is a sponge in the middle because that helps to exfoliate! There is a WIDE variety of soaps made with natural essential oils available at Essentially Ferina, for around the $5 price point which is very affordable!

Linen/Room/Body Mist: I received a small sampler of this in Marrakesh and just love it! This spicey smell is wonderful and not overpowering at all. I love wearing it as my perfume around the house and adding a few spritzes to the bathroom after I apply it. Even though I am not usually a earthy scent kind of girl, this blend is perfect for me and not too overpowering! $7 for 4 ounces is a nice price for this multipurpose spray!

Body Scrubs: This sample body scrub in Pumpkin Spice is awesome. It leaves my skin so nicely hydrated and smooth and gets rid of all of the dead/dry skin I have from the cold winter snaps we have here in Florida. It is nicely scented, and the Pumpkin Spice is a great fall scent! $10 for 4 ounces.

Aromatherapy Bath Soaks: I am a huge fan of bath soaks, and aside from soaps and oils it is one of my favorite things. Hey, I am a pretty easy girl to please right? The Rosemary and Lemon soak is perfect for me. The lemon scent is nice and the combination of the two helps to heal with any minor skin issues. Considering I am Mom of two little boys, we often have nicks and scrapes that this bath helps with. Both boys are a little perplexed at the rosemary floating in the bath, but they both enjoy the relaxing bath despite that! At $15 for a 12 ounce container, it makes a nice Christmas gift!
