Band-Aids galore and so much more.

I have 2 children so there is no lack of band aids or “first aid” type products. My girls are just like any girls and don’t want the plain ones, they want the ones that have characters on them or fun designs. Recently Band-Aid has has come out with a few new designs and asked if I would check them out. Of course I said yes, you can never have too many band aids.

There is a big joke in our house about Hello Kitty. My husband made a joke once about liking her and well the rest is history. So whenever we get a chance to get something with Hello Kitty on it, we give it to him. Band Aid sent me not only Hello Kitty band aids, but also an awesome Hello Kitty as well. Not long after we received the package he got a cut, so I quickly pulled out the Hello Kitty ones before he had a chance to get one. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but he wouldn’t let me (there is always next time thought).

There is Frozen everything right now, and Band-Aid is no exception. I personally really love the Olaf ones and did wear one (i have no shame, I love Frozen). My 2 year old saw the Jake and the Never Land Pirates ones and got really excited. Then all of a sudden she had an owie, hmmm I wonder where she got that idea from?

If you have looked at Band-Aids at the store, there were really 2 different ones. Ones for kids, then the plain ones for adults or for kids. I absolutely love that Band-Aid has branched out from that and is offering a lot more choices. Not only are they branching out, but they are teaming up with some big names in the fashion world. For example J.Crew and Crewcut. They are fun, very boyish but a lot cooler than the simple tan ones.

Band-Aid also teamed up and created ones that support our veterans There are 20 assorted sizes and fun patriotic designs. I personally have family that served so when I’m able to do something that helps them, I do. I’m already going to buy band-aids, might as well buy ones that help my family and friends.

I love fashion, sho when I saw that Isaac Mizrahi has his own style of Band-Aids, I was so excited. I love his sense of fashion. In my mind he is iconic! My 12 year old didn’t know who he was until I had her google him, then she understood.

Usually when you need a band aid it’s because you cut or burned yourself. Just putting it on isn’t going to fix or heal you quickly. A product like Neosporin is a great one to use because it’s easy to apply and helps superfast.  If you want to keep some in your purse or car you can go with the Neo to go. It’s perfect for bags. Neosporin also has a lip treatment. It’s a small container and in only 3 days will help repair your lips. I live in a very cold state so during the winter my lips get chapped, I love that this is available.

The last thing I wanted to share with you guys, is similar to band aids. It’s called ScarAway. It does exactly what the name of it says. It is to be used on new or old scars. You apply the silicone sheet to the area. Now this isn’t a miracle product that claims to take away the scar in only a day. This does take time, up to 12 weeks, but it’s worth it. I have had 21 surgeries in my life (i’m only 30), s I have tons of scars. I have a few that I will be using this on so it is less noticeable. For a box of 8 sheets it costs $19.99. A little pricy but for what it does. For those who have very visible scars, it is very worth it.

A few facts:

  • May be used on any skin tone and on scars that are old or new.
  • you can remove it to shower and then reapply
  • ideal for scars caused from surgical procedures injuries or burns.
  • and so much more

You can find all of these products that I mentioned at most pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, Walmart and more.

Now for the really fun part. Band-Aid is giving one lucky winner a basket of their products. In addition to the package there will be a box of Isaac Mizrahi Band-Aids that is signed by him. Yes you read that right, signed by Isaac. Please use the Giveaway Tools below for your chance to win.
