  5. This year I'm planting flowers to attract more bees and Monarch butterflies in our yard; I guess that's a small way I'm helping the planet.

  7. I try to use reusable containers for lunches instead of sandwich bags. I recycle everything that I can and teach my kids to do the same. I donate clothing and any items that can be reused.
