Chateau La Paws Wine Review

I have had animals all my life, both dogs and cats. I currently have 2 cats and 1 really big dog. All 3 we rescued from the same no-kill shelter. I can’t imagine not having them in our family now. When I heard about Chateau La Paws, I was not only intrigued but also wanted to try out their wines.

I think as I get older, I’m starting to like wine more and more. What I really love about Chateau La Paws is that, I can enjoy wine and help support no-kill shelters. I’m sure you are wondering how wine and pet shelters go together. To be honest so did I when I first heard about them.

Right now Chateau La Paws have three different types of wine;  Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or a Red Wine Blend. I was able to sample the Chardonnay and the Red Wine Blend. I will admit that I am not by any means of the word an expert with wines. For me, if I like it, I buy more of it, and if I don’t well then I don’t buy it for me. At $13 a bottle, you do get a great deal. The Red Wine Blend has a bit of a bite to it, which I actually liked. I definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. I’m pretty sure I will be buying more of this in the future.

If you aren't sure on what shelters are around you, Chateau has you covered. You can imput your zip code to find ones, or look on our Dogs page to see if any look liek they would be a great addition to your family.

“In 2015 Chateau La Paws™ & Diageo Chateau & Estates are donating $100,000 to North Shore Animal League America to help fund the great work that they do to rescue, nurture, and adopt as many dogs as possible.” $100,000 is a ton of money, and it will go a long way to help change the lives of so many animals.

Since Chateau loves animals so much, they also sent over a dish, toys and treats for my big boy House (yes, that’s his name). He tried one of the treats and decided that he needed the rest of them right away as he stole them off the table. I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say, he liked them.

Wine is not a one flavor fits all type of thing, but I would really give Chateau La Paws a chance, as you get to have a great glass of wine while supporting animals at the same time. So for me, it’s a win win situation!

Chateau is being very generous and is giving away a package like I got, with 2 bottles of wine and treats for your dog. Go HERE if you want to enter!!!

  12. I would try the chardonnay. I know nothing about wine at all. I'm not sure what color that is. I like either a pink wine or chocolate. Chocolate wine is my favorite.
