Win Your National Geographic Kids Summer Boredom Busters!

I never ever pass up an opportunity to review National Geographic Kids items. My oldest son is fascinated with any and all Nat Geo, and that has been passed on to my toddler son. As a matter of a fact, he refuses to read any other books except his big brothers National Geographic Kids. I was jsut asked to review five new titles and I was just thrilled.

NG Readers: Lions --  Part of the National Geographic Readers series, this level one
reader ($3.99) is perfect for those just starting to read.   Joining the many dozens of titles in this series, Lions, featues beautiful photos of lions and cubs accompanying simple but informative text, fun facts and jokes to make kids ROAR with laughter:).

Chapters: Kangaroo to the Rescue! -- This chapter book series picks up where the Readers series leaves off.  This title ($5.99) features three incredible true stories of animal heroics, including Lulu the kangaroo, two dogs named Maggie and Pilot and three amazing pigs, each a hero in its own way.

Look & Learn: Bears -- Developed in association with child education experts, the newest addition ($6.99) to the Look & Learn board book series features bears of every variety and introduces concepts with context reinforcement so learning sticks.

Everything Birds of Prey -- The Everything series is perfect for kids ages 8-12.  In Everything Birds of Prey ($12.99) readers can swoop in for seriously fierce photos and amazing info on some of the fastest and largest flying animals in the world.

Ponies & Horses Sticker Activity Book  -- Packed with mazes, spelling and pattern games, drawing activities and more, this title ($12.99) is perfect for the horse-obsessed and a terrific boredom buster!
Both of my sons and I have spent so much time reading all of these books! My older son has really enjoyed the activity book on school days when he is not allowed on his electronics, and my toddler especially love the Everything Birds of Prey, because birds are proving to be his favorite animal at two years old. I particularly love that the Look and Learn Bears book is a board book and more appropriate for my toddler son, and I do not have to worry about him tearing the pages or being too rough with it.

If you value education and love offering educational materials for your child in a FUN way, then I highly recommend Nat Geo Kids and any of the above titles! They are fun, and offer colorful, bright pictures to keep your little one interested. We even have a subscription to the magazine and love when one comes in the mail! You just cannot go wrong with Nat Geo and Nat Geo Kids! National Geographic Kids has developed an amazing Super Reader site to complement their Readers series.  It has prizes to reward their reading effort, printable posters to help track their progress, activities, quizzes, games and ALOT more.  Visit the site:  kids.nationalgeographic.com/superreaders.
