Fifth Third Bank- helping people find jobs with NextJob

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fifth Third Bank.

I went to college twice, and both times graduation with honors. Finding a job right out of college isn’t easy even then and if there are openings. There are just so many people to compete with these days that it makes it so difficult. I really wish I knew about NextJob then. When looking at the numbers on where jobs are posted and who get interviews I was really surprised. “‘Getting a job is anything but easy. On average, 200 people apply for every job opening. Only 2% of them actually get interviews.” Robert Meier, President of Job Market Experts’.  And 50% of all jobs aren’t even posted online. That’s why you need job search coaching. “NextJob’s experts nearly triple your chances of landing a job faster than going it alone” according to NextJob.com. I am so happy to be working with Fifth Third Bank and helping share the word about job coaching and help people find employment.

You are probably wondering why a bank cares about people getting jobs. Well, why wouldn’t they? They are a business yes, but they care about the economy and about people, and I just love that they want to help. Not only do they want to help they are putting their money where their mouth is so to speak. Fifth Third Bank is giving away $1 million, yes you read that right $1 million of one-on-one job coaching from NextJob. That is a value of about $1,000 for each person.

NextJob isn’t just a source that says, here is a job listing, go enter and good luck. No, they actually coach. Everything is virtual so you don’t have to worry about traveling somewhere and meeting with someone. NextJob will help you prep for interviews, help with resume writing/editing, find job listings that aren’t even posted online. Did you know that 50% of listings aren’t online*? I didn’t know that. They also help with career/personality testing, creating and enhancing LinkedIn profiles and so much more. It truly is a service that helps people. NextJob says that “people are nearly three times more likely to get a job with job search help than without it.”

Do you want to enter to try and win? It’s definitely worth it if you are looking for a job right now. So, use #BrandofYou and #53enter in your tweet and tell us why you deserve free one-on-one job coaching from NextJob. Please note that you can enter 1 times per day. Twitter parties are a lot of fun. I have attended a lot of them (you attend from your phone, computer or other device). Fifth Third is also hosting a Twitter event where NextJob coaches will provide real time feedback on resumes and interview question responses. On the Twitter event date, Fifth Third Bank will award up to 50 job coaching opportunities. Event details: https://brandofyou.53.com/events
