Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 Flash Drive

We love technology in my house. Lexar contacted me to try out one of their jump drives. We have a few drives around the house but what I loved about theirs is that you can use them on phones as well, so I definitely wanted to see what their M20 Mobile USB 3.0 Flash Drive was all about.

With school in session for some and almost in session for others having a flash drive that works with your tablet, phone and computer is fantastic. Not only that but they aren’t tiny amounts of data space either. You can get 16GB, 32GB or even a 64GB drive. I’m only 31 but I still remember when drives were in the MB category and having something that held 16 was HUGE. Mya loves her music and has her micro SD card pretty much full on her phone, so I don’t have to sorry about putting more on this one, but keeping it for school work.

There are times when I don’t want to email Mya something as I want her to have it right away and easy to find (no searching through a million emails) so throwing it on the drive is much easier. Plus then I don’t have to worry about reception or anything or her worrying about it when she needs something.

Besides the actual technology behind the drive, I love how it looks. Most have the USB open unless you have a cover. Lexar uses a retractable design so that you only need what you are using to stick out. Once you are done you can pull it back so that it’s flush and can’t get caught on anything. It is small, but they do have a spot where you can hook a string or even to a keychain so you don’t lose it.

  • Store and share content faster. Leveraging USB 3.0 performance with up to 150MB/s** read transfer speeds, you can quickly transfer a 3GB HD video clip in less than one minute—compared to the 4 minutes it takes using a standard USB 2.0 drive.*** And for added versatility, the drive is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
  • Convenient portability with retractable design. This 2-in-1 drive sports a thumb slide design, with a connector on each end—micro-USB and USB 3.0—that both retract. This makes it easy to carry and means there are no caps to lose.
  • Increase storage and back up files. With capacities from 16GB to 64GB, the drive also lets you offload lots of content from your tablet or smartphone to create more room, and also provides a great way to back up files. You can also download a file management app like ASTRO File Manager from the Google Play™ store to quickly and easily manage files from the cloud and mobile devices.

  • Lexar performance, quality, compatibility, and reliability. All Lexar memory card, card reader, and USB flash drive product designs undergo extensive testing in the Lexar Quality Labs, facilities with more than 1,100 digital devices, to ensure performance, quality, compatibility, and reliability. This provides customers with a high level of confidence when using Lexar products to capture, manage, move, and store the memories that matter.

Check out their site to order or HERE to find a store near you. It’s something in my opinion that every kid needs for back to school.

  1. This is something I need to get for my brother. He is always writing, and often needs to transfer his work from one computer to another, or from his tablet to the desktop. I'm also particularly impressed with the storage function. Theres a lot of files we can store on here, and make more room on the desktop. Up to 64GB? I'm going to get him this as part of his birthday swag! Thanks for the info!!
