  1. We have adopted kitty family members in our family. They are definitely part of the family. One kitty, bless him passed away, but was a cat that seemed abused and kept coming to our house. We found out that he had FIV+ and were so afraid of him giving it to our other cats if we took him into the house. Almost all shelters would put him to sleep because of this. Finally one took him in, but when he got sick, said they'd put him to sleep. We rushed over and officially adopted him. He never passed it onto our other cats. He lived for several years with us before he became very sick and passed away.

  5. My husband and I adopted a dog 4 months ago from the shelter. They said he was a rescue dog. Benji was malnourished, cuts and bruises, and broke ribs. My poor baby. Well long story short he has my husband wrapped around his little paw. He has gained the weight back and everything is okay now. Best decision we every made
