Peach & Cream Cinnamon Roll Up with Nature’s Harvest® Whole Grain Challenge!

My boys (or I) do not eat enough wheat, I totally and freely admit that, so I jumped at the chance to participate in the Nature’s Harvest® Whole Grain Challenge. In order for this to go over with my boys, I have to admit I need to add butter, sugar and cream cheese, but in the end I came up with a super yummy recipe that we will be keeping for a long time to come! 



Information about Nature’s Harvest®:
  • Each variety of Nature’s Harvest® bread is baked with:
    • At least 8 grams of whole grains per serving
    • No artificial flavors or colors
    • No high fructose corn syrup 
  • Since ALL Nature’s Harvest® breads are baked with at least 8 grams of whole grains per serving, it’s an easy way for moms to provide her family the whole grains they need… no matter the variety
  • Nature’s Harvest® bread is now available to consumers nationwide and come in delicious varieties including:
    • 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat Bread
    • Honey Wheat Made with Whole Grain Bread
    • Butter Top Made With Whole Grain White Bread
    • Butter Top Made with Whole Grain Wheat Bread

Paige's Peach & Cream Cinnamon Toast Roll Up
Ingredients:
  • 7 slices Nature’s Harvest® Whole Wheat Bread
  • 4oz Cream Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Half of a Medium Peach diced in pieces
  • Cinnamon and Sugar to Coat Toast
Instructions:
  1. Soften the Cream Cheese and add the Sugar,Vanilla and Peaches and mix together. 
  2. Flatten the Bread (I used my hand but you can use roller) and cut off crust
  3. Apply Cream Cheese Mixture to Center of Bread
  4. Roll Bread Up
  5. Add Butter to Outside
  6. Brown in Skillet (I added extra butter to pan to keep from sticking)
  7. Roll in the Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture
  8. Enjoy!

  47. I learned that all of their products are free of hydrogenated oil and fats. Hydrogenation, a process in which hydrogen is added to oils to make them more solid, is used by many in the baking industry to help make products moist, easier to slice and stay fresh longer.
