Grilled Chicken Strips at Smashburger

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Smashburger

I just recently moved to the South West portion of the country (AZ). When I say recently I mean I have been here less than two months. Anyway, I had not heard of Smashburger before until a few friends told me about it. So when I had the opportunity to go, I was definitely game for a new place.

We ended up going to Las Vegas since it’s not that far from us and made it a day of fun ending with our meal at Smashburger. First thing I noticed is how open and clean the whole place was. Nothing jammed packed making you feel like you couldn’t move. Since we hadn’t been there before and I didn’t know what to order for myself the gentleman at the counter was very helpful.

We ended up ordering 2 kids meals and an extra burger mainly because Fallon wanted a kids Smash (burger) along with her Grilled Chicken Strips (who am I to say no?). Mya ordered the hot dog kids meal, I had a cheeseburger with no bun, cucumbers, red onions and a little bit of balsamic vinaigrette (OMG good), and Darin had a Bacon Cheeseburger basket.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Grilled Chicken Strips as I have always gotten just regular chicken strips for the girls. Fallon loved them and didn’t even want any sauce with them, even though you can get BBQ, Ranch or of course ketchup. She was really hungry and ate them so fast that I couldn’t get a real picture of her eating the chicken (kids I tell ya). She probably would have had more if she didn’t already have the burger by her (which she didn’t eat all of but a couple bites, and saved the rest for later).

I was very impressed with how the Grilled Chicken Strips are made from 100% premium all-white meat, and have no artificial flavors or fillers in them. I also love that their newest side option is Musselman’s Unsweetened Squeezable Applesauce. I’t not only Gluten free, fat free but also trans fat free and Kosher. Having applesauce is a much better choice for a side, and one that Fallon just loves. We usually have her drink white milk but this time we let her enjoy HONEST Kids juice. Smashburger does have Horizon Milk as a choice and also fountain drinks if you choose as well.

You can get an entire kids meal for only $5.49, which in my opinion is a great value especially at this quality of food.

My family likes to have fun while out shopping and eating out, but then again what family doesn’t. So while they were busy having fun, I made sure to snap a picture so I could show everyone how silly they really can be.

Smashburger has something for everyone in the family and their newest item to the kids meal being Grilled Chicken Strips is a great addition. I would go check them out on your next outing. Let me know if you do and what you think of them.
