PlayAllDayElmo Party

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hasbro and Playskool. I received product samples and a party stipend to facilitate my review, as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

My oldest daughter is 12, but still has her Elmo doll that I got her years ago, so not my little one who is three plays with it. When we had the opportunity to do a party and play with the new Play All Day Elmo, I knew it would be perfect for her.

Another reason we wanted to do a party is that we just moved this summer across the country so Fallon doesn’t have as many friends. She’s in preschool so she’s making some, but it’s not the same. A party gave us a little excuse to invite a few over to play and make new friends.

Fallon was the only one to receive the Elmo doll, so the kids took turns playing with him. He does so much more than any doll she has played with, even her sister’s interactive Elmo. I love that you can put it on toddler mode or preschool mode. When in the toddler mode you can throw him up in the air, squeeze his hands, tickle his tummy, push his nose etc to get him to respond in different ways. The preschool mode is a little more in depth and works with your little one with counting, Elmo Says, animal sounds, colors and so much more. It seems like the responses from Elmo are endless and the kids loved him. You can even use Elmo for nap time to sing a lullaby (major added bonus). You can buy Play All Day Elmo at most major stores like Target, Walmart and even HasbroToyShop.com.

The real fun part was watching both the boy and the two girls all want to play with ALL the toys. They were each given a My Little Pony Musical Celebration Castle (age 18 months and up) and a Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex (ages 3 and up). I was so happy to see them all play. At one point I think Fallon had the dinosaur attack the My Little Pony (sure why not. makes sense to me).

The My Little Pony does require 2 AA batteries and does require you to put it together. I think the kids had fun watching us put all the pieces together. Once they were all together then the fun really began. It’s always fun for me to watch kids play together nicely and also to just use their imaginations (like having dinosaurs attack ponies). There are a bunch of different things the musical castle can do. For example, you can push the tower down and that causes the dance floor to spin, or you can take the pony for a ride in the elevator, down the slide. You can even flip the wall down and play lullaby music. The set comes with Pinkie Pie and Starsong ponies, but you can buy more in the stores.

I have to be honest and say that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. It also requires 2 AA batteries but comes with demo ones so there should be enough in them to play. His eyes light up and he roars which makes it more fun when attacking. Another cute addition to this toy is that it comes with a little human figure and also a capture cuff that can attach to the foot of the Rex.

I think any child would love any of the three toys and you can find them at pretty much all major stores nationwide including HasbroToyShop.com.
