Activity and sleep trackers are a great way to see just how much or how little you did in a day. With so many options out there now, it’s hard to know which one is right for you. I have worked with ihealth before on and love the company. I was more than happy to look at their tracker as well when they asked me too.
The first thing I want to say about the Edge is that I love the look. I really looks like a regular watch. I can’t do metals, as i’m very sensitive so I love the fact that it not only comes with 2 different silicone bands, but it also 2 clips. That gives me or whoever is wearing it many options to what color and how they want to wear it. I also love that the bands are very flexible and can pretty much fit any wrist size.
I was in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and a friend was wearing it for me as she pushed me in my wheelchair (I have to use it if i’m walking long times at a time). It didn’t seem to catch all the steps but we think that could be because she was pushing and her arms weren't making the normal motions. I think in that case it would have been better if she worse the clip instead of the wristband.
The app that works along with the Edge is compatible with both ios and android, so that’s one less thing you have to worry about. It’s also great that if you have other ihealth products like I have you can just use one app instead of one for every device. That makes my phone a whole lot less cluttered. The app can also keep your information for you so you can share with your dr if you want/need to.
I don’t personally use a sleep tracker, but if you do this activity tracker can do that as well, which I think is pretty cool. It’s a great way to see how much sleep or little sleep you are getting on a regular bases without having to really think about it.
Overall I think this is a great device that most anyone would love. You can go buy one (Christmas is just a week away) at their site, Best Buy (seriously one of my favorite stores), and Walgreens).
