LG V10 Cell Phone

My friends tease me on how much i’m attached to my cellphone. I love playing with phones, how they all work the same but different at the same time. I recently had a chance to review LG’s new LG V10 cell phone.

When you (at least I do) see a commercial of electronics especially cell phones, I always wonder ok does that work as well as they say this does and as easy? That is what I wanted to know when it came to the LG V10. I didn’t go as far as recreating the commercial (though, that does sound like fun).

The first thing I noticed after the size of the screen being 5.7 inches, is the lack of buttons. I’m so used to a home button, side buttons for volume and a power button on the side or on the top. The LG V10 doesn’t have buttons on the side, top or bottom. They actually put the volume and power button on the back. I’ll be honest, it was a little weird at first, but I got used to it and like it. it makes the sides nice and smooth. Plus you can’t accidentally hit the volume on accident, or well at least as easily now.

Let’s talk cameras. the rear camera of course if the highest MP as they should be, we use that more often that a front. Anyway, it has a 16 MP rear camera and really does take great photos. The part of the cameras that I loved is the Dual (yes dual) front cameras that are a pretty impressive 5 MP. The front cameras allow you to choose from a wide angle photo or a standard angle photo. This lets you take even better selfies. When you are in manual mode you have so many options, it’s like having a DSLR in the palm of your hand.

When it comes to taking videos the V10 is pretty cool. it has built in video editors. You can enhance your audio, edit the video of course, combine video clips and way more. I love this feature as it’s easier to use than downloading another app to edit and it doesn’t always do what you want so you need to download a few, now you don’t need to.

Most phones allow you to add a micro SD card, and of course the V10 is no different. However, the memory size that it can manage is impressive. I have seen 128GB more often than I did before, however the V10 can do up to 2TB. This makes me want a micro SD card that large.
There are so many more features but there was one more that I wanted to point out. The V10 has a second screen. Kind of like picture in picture on TV’s. It lets you still see your notifications while doing something else. That way you don’t have to exit out of what you were doing.

You can buy the LG V10 at Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T. Pricing is going to depend on your carrier. If you are close to your upgrade time or can upgrade at anytime, I would check out the LG V10. This is one of the nicest Android phones I have seen in awhile, Every time I turn it on, I find new features to play with and try out.

  2. I loved my old LG until I demolished the screen one day when I dropped it. The size was perfect and it was much thinner than other cell phones.

  3. I recently got the LG tribute 2 and while I love the phone, the rear camera doesn't autofocus and it can be a pain sometimes. LG does have some good quality phones and I would still recommend one to anyone looking for an affordable phone

  4. We're a house full of LG phones. A few years ago, my teenage son wanted the latest and greatest iPhone. Someone told me about LG, so I told him I'd get an LG G2 (and one for me). He was convinced he would hate it. Before you know it, he wanted the LG G3. He got it and now he's on the G4. He's saving up for the G5. My S.O. just switched from Motorola (even though I love Motorola phones) to the LG V10. I'm jealous. I was still stuck with the G2. I finally got a G4, but I still really want that V10! It takes AMAZING PICS!
