Virtual Reality Headset from Fibrum

My entire family love playing games, and the newest thing in games is virtual reality. I had been looking at the headsets for a while now but hadn’t tried them. When Fibrum contacted me asking to look at their VR headset, I was really excited as I knew we would all love it.

The first thing I like about this is that you can fit any 4-6 inch screen size smartphone. Personally I have iphone 6+, my daughter has 6s and my husband a Galaxy, so I love that we can all use it with our own phones instead of only using one. All you have to do is slide the phone in. If you have a larger phone like I do, you will have to take it out of the case so it will fit better.

When you first buy the Fibrum you will receive a card with a code for special access. From there you can buy extra games if you want to. Fibrum has a ton of different versions, so you can download a bunch (I have a few in a folder just for Fibrum). You can get for google play and itunes.

The first game we downloaded was zombies, since we are big zombie show fans. Mya found out right away that the game senses the way your head is and works that way too. You want to be standing and move around to really get into it. It’s the same way with the other games. You don’t want to be sitting or you won’t really experience the game as well.

It’s really easy to use, you really just pull the game up, put the phone in the headset and then on your head and you are ready to play. Just follow the game and enjoy the ride so to speak.

If you are looking for a gift for someone who loves electronics I would really look at Fibrum for them. IF they aren't into zombies, then they can always download the roller coaster, mad race and so many others.

  1. This has been puzzling me for a while - I'm not really into gaming (except for things like Candy Crush) so I wasn't sure what these VR sets were. But after reading your review I think I understand it. It's a little like the Holodeck on Star Trek: The Next Generation, right? I mean, it seems it actually puts you INTO the game. It souds a little intimdating to me, but my best friend's husband is MAJORLY into gaming - especially with the zombies! I'll have to look into this as a gift. Thanks for clearning up my confusion!
