Get Your kids Back to School with Younique Makeup

Back to School supplies also include beauty supplies. One of the brands I love is Younique. I have been using their 3D Fiber Lash Mascara for a while now, so when I had the chance to check out their other makeup, I definitely said yes.

I was looking at the sets and really love the Touch of Beauty as it gives you a good variety of the products. Here is the list of products with the shades.
  • Moodstruck addiction shadow palette- #3 (cool)
  • Brow liner- dark
  • Splurge cream shadow- noble
  • Opulence lipstick- upper class
  • Lucrative lip gloss- lucky
  • Touch mineral skin perfecting concealer- velour & taffeta
  • Moodstruck precision liquid eyeliner-  perfect
  • Touch Mineral Liquid Foundation- velour & taffeta

Eye makeup is what I really love. So many colors and so many opportunities do something fun and different with my look. The Moodstruck Addiction shadow palette is amazing. I’m a purple type of girl when it comes to color. This is what I do for an everyday look:

For my eyes in this pic I used a little bit of smitten for my upper eye so there is just a little bit of shimmer. For my eye lid I used the Splurge cream shadow (Noble). You only need a tiny bit since it’s cream. It goes on really smooth. For the crease of my eyelid I used cheeky and ecstatic from the palette. Then just a tiny bit of Flippant for the edge of the bottom liner after using the liquid liner on the top and just a little on the bottom. I told you I love playing with eye colors.

For a night out, I would do something a little more drastic that “pops” more.

I would really recommend using a primer especially for those long days and with the creams. This way the color will last longer for you.
I have Rosacea (not very bad, but when it flares you can defiantly see it). With the Mineral Touch Concealer, it really helps with the redness, and I don’t have to use very much of it at all.

I have seen a lot of videos showing that the liquid foundation covers up sharpies written on the face. I’m not going to do that. I’m sure it does, but I’ll leave it to them. I did use the foundation with a blender brush, kabuki brush, and then just with my fingers. Personally, I felt when I used the kabuki brush it was thicker than I’m used to it. I think I prefer a mix between the kabuki brush and blender brush.

Lastly I want to talk about the lipstick and lip gloss. With 15 different lipstick shades and 10 gloss shades to pick from, there is definitely something for everyone. I love the coverage from both the gloss and lipsticks.
Definitely check out Younique products, all the makeup and tools that they have. These are perfect for back to school, dances and those school pics that are so important to us.
