Lets Support Team USA at Rio 2016 Olympic Games #LetsPowerTheirDreams

We are a big sports family. I mean my brother played multiple sports (all American), I played multiple sports (NOT all American), and now my oldest daughter who is 13 is taking after me and her uncle and is playing multiple sports. She is in Volleyball, basketball and track right now. With the Rio 2016 Olympic Games starting this week, and we will be glued to the TV watching some of our favorite sports.

I mentioned that my daughter is in sports. She has been since she was little. Not only does she play basketball, volleyball and is in track, but also at age 11 she earned her first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (pretty impressive). She definitely understand training and dedication for becoming a professional athlete.

This week is really important for Mya and Volleyball as its tryouts for the team. One area she needs to work on is serving. So watching April Ross is perfect timing. She’s really paying attention to every aspect of them playing, but really watching serving. Her new team uses the same technique that Ross does, so it’s new for Mya. Ross is not only a great athlete, but a role model for all girls that you can really achieve anything. Look at just SOME of the achievements that she has made so far in her career:

  • On the 2014 FIVB Tour, Ross and Kerri Walsh Jennings won gold medals at the Fuzhou Open in China, the Moscow Grand Slam, the Stavanger Grand Slam in Norway and the World Series of Beach Volleyball in Long Beach, Calif. They finished the season ranked third by the FIVB
  • Ross and Jennifer Kessy won the 2009 FIVB World Championship in Stavanger, Norway
  • Won the 2015 AVP Manhattan Beach Open with Jennifer Fopma and AVP Championship with Lauren Fendrick
  • Led USC to the 2003 NCAA National Championship

As a girl we don’t want our hair to get all over the place while playing. Aussie® 3 Minute Miracle Smooth Treatment is the perfect solution. You apply it to wet hair and only have to use it once a week which makes it even better.
Best features of Aussie® 3 Minute Miracle Smooth Treatment:

  • Gets your frizz under control in just 3 short minutes.
  • Deep moisturizing conditioner that smooths your wily locks, leaving you with soft, swoon-worthy hair.
  • Made with a touch of Olive Oil and Australian Ginseng.

One of the best things about Aussie is that not only is it affordable but it’s a P&G product and can be found at Walmart. Which means that you can pretty much buy it anywhere or on the go if you are at an away tournament and need to go shopping.

While you are at WalMart check out the other products from P&G that show your Team USA Pride like Tide, Bounty, Pampers, Gillette and so many more!

While we watch Ross and her partner Jennings go for Gold we want to know about you. What is your favorite sport and what are you looking forward to watching during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games?
