Dream Frenz Pillows Made by Kids for Kids

This review was made possible by iConnect and Dream Frenz.  I was provided product and compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.

My kids love pillows; both their beds are loaded up with them. I was looking at the Dream Frenz Pillows and my 4 year old saw them and wanted really wanted the Marlin (moon and stars) one. She even took it to her show and tell at school.

I will be honest, the pillows are a little silly looking, but really cute at the same time. They have big heads and tiny little bodies. love that the little body is connected by elastic rather than just a little string. This makes it so it won’t get lost (very important with little ones).

The pillows themselves are super cute, but the backstory is what I love. These weren’t created by some big toy company, but rather a child. Halie Fulton’s daughter Mary was in third grade when she was doodling and with the help of her other child’s sewing teacher they created Dream Frenz. The kids are now 14, 12, and 9 and still have input on all the designs. I love this, kids making their dreams come true and having say over what gets made.

Currently Dream Frenz has 10 characters, but more are in the works like sports, heroes and an international line. They are super simple, just a pillow with an insert for the little body. Some of the pillows have a name just like a person and others speak for themselves:

  • Penelope
  • Shimmer
  • Merry
  • Sol
  • Brittany
  • Marlin
  • Ben
  • Ray
  • PJ
  • St Nick

These pillows are perfect for chilling on the couch, cuddling in bed and even when traveling. They are small enough to fit into a backpack or luggage when on vacation. What’s even better is where you can buy them: Walmart and only Walmart. I would check them out the next time you are there. They make for great gifts and have one for almost every child’s likes.

  6. I think the alot of the pillows are cut. The sort of remind me of the powerpuff girls with the big heads and small bodies. My Briana loves them. I love the way they have some many different designs. Not just faces but moons and suns.

  13. I like that they are small enough to bring just about anywhere. I much prefer a pillow over a blanket being dragged around.

  14. I love the big head and tiny body just like children draw themselves when the 1st start drawing pictures of people. They draw big heads and small arms and legs coming off the head. They appear to be the perfect size for little ones and such bright colors.
