VTech Baby Monitor with Wide-Angle Lens

VTech is one of my main baby monitor go to company. So many choices for every need and want. I was recently sent their new Safe&Sound® Full Color Video Monitor with Wide-Angle Lens (VM342). If you want something simple, yet with a ton of features, then you need to check this monitor out.

I have never had a monitor camera that came with an extra lens. An, extra camera, yes, but not an extra lens. The reason for this, is that you can make it into a wide-angle view if you want. This way you can see more than you would with a regular lens. It’s super easy to attach. All you do is screw it over the existing one. You can move the wide angle lens as well and pull it out from the camera. It is perfect if you have it mounted on the wall, that way the lens can be at the angle instead of the entire camera.

This monitor can manage up to four cameras. This way you can have them all over the house and only need one monitor so view them. Plus, with a 1000 feet range, you can see your child from anywhere in the house.

Features:

  •          Vibrating sound-alert on the parent unit
  •          Two-way, talk-back intercom
  •          Wall-mount bracket
  •          Temperature sensor
  •          Sound and motion activation mode
  •          Secure digital video and audio transmission
  •          Rechargeable battery with low-battery alert on the parent unit
  •          And more!

The most important feature of course is to see your child on the monitor, but also to be able to talk to them. I love that this has a two-way, talk-back intercom. I have used it on Fallon when she is falling asleep and needs just a little more soothing without me being in the room.
All the controls are at your fingertips on the 4.3-inch color monitor. Like having it alert you when the temperature changes, or sound and motion activation.
Safe&Sound® Full Color Video Monitor with Wide-Angle Lens makes for a great baby shower gift as well. Check out all their other monitors as well.
