Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link

Having a heater and fan all in one machine is one of my must haves. Dyson took that idea and made it even better. I have one of their first hot/cold fans, but their pure hot+cool link takes it to a whole new level.

Once you get this machine, the first thing you must do is download the app (available on both itunes and android). Of course, it comes with a remote, but the app will not only control the machine. To set everything up, is very easy. Follow the super simple directions on the card that is included with the papers. I know sometimes when they say it only takes minutes, and it takes what feels like forever. Well, the set up really did take only a couple of minutes. Once set up, I just had to tell it if I wanted the cool or hot and at what setting. So happy on how easy It was.

The pure hot+cool link will also give you diagnostic look at the air quality in your home. I live in the desert, so there is dust and dirt all over the place.  Per Dyson this can automatically purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. This machine does so many things, but the one feature I love the most… no blades or anything to my pets or toddler to get hurt on. This is a big deal to me as I have it on the floor.

Like I said above, Dyson pulled out all the stops on this one. I mean, you get a fan, heater, air purifier all in one machine. Then they made it even better with WiFi connectivity. It’s a little pricey, BUT in my opinion, very much worth the cost. Like most air purifiers, you have to change the filter from time to time. I have had ones where I have no clue when to change it and have to look at it once in a while. The pure hot+cool link is not like that. On the app, there is a section that tells you how much longer (hours used/left) you have until you must change it. The time frame is around 4,000 hours of use. No guessing or taking things apart. Personally, I like that feature.

To keep from using up all the hours, you can put it on auto mode. This will make it turn on and off on it’s own depending on the air quality. I didn’t do this one night, I forgot to be honest, so it was off completely. When I turned it on in the morning, my air quality was only fair. Within about an hour, it was back up to good. It works really fast, and I have it placed in the living room near the kitchen so it will get the whole area.

If you are looking for a new air purifier, or even just a fan/heater. I would recommend looking at the pure hot+cool link as you get so much in one machine. Makes for a great Christmas present as well for well, pretty much anyone. I have one, but if my husband bought me another, I would still be happy as I could put it in the other area of the house. The more the merrier in my book.

  3. I'm not a fan of Dyson vacuums because they're so heavy but I love the Dyson fans/heaters! No moving blades that collect grease and dust. This one sounds like it has all the bells and whistles.

  4. I think Dyson is a cool company. I have not ever been fortunate enough to have one, I bet this heater/fan would be amazing. Plus it looks really cool too (pardon the pun).
