Krups Coffee Grinder

I really do love coffee. I have always bought my grounds in a bag, or in the cups for my single serve machines. I do have a few bags of beans, which means I need to grind them. I was searching for a good grinder. Krups has one that I absolutely love. It’s their Burr Grinder (GX5000).

I know it’s a strange thing to get excited about, but, I love the smell of fresh ground coffee grounds.

First things first, read the directions (always read instructions for products, even if they look simple). There are a few grinders I have seen that only have one setting. This means, you don’t have any choice at how fine or course you want. With this grinder, you can choose extremely fine, coarse, or anywhere in between. All you do is turn the dial to that number.

Once you place the beans in the reservoir, and choose the fineness, you then tell it how many “cups” from 2 to 12. Then press the button in the middle and the machine does its thing. Once ground the coffee goes into the container below and you can just pull out. It’s super easy to use, and to clean up. I can’t believe I have gone so long without one.

One thing I had to look up is how to store the grounds. I know what to do with the store bought, but didn’t know if it was different with fresh. Krups USA advises to use then right away. So only ground up what you want to use right then.

Overall, I really love this grinder (as I’m sure you can tell). It’s small, easy to use and very affordable. You can buy from Krups, or stores like Amazon, Dillards, Meijer, Bed Bath & Beyond, and so many more. This would make for a great Christmas gift for all your coffee loving friends and family.
