Like most families we have medical costs and prescriptions every month that we must get. Our new insurance plan is better than our last, but still it means extra costs out of pocket. Whenever I find something that saves me money I’m all for it. Especially if it’s something that is a necessity, like medications. ScriptSave WellRx can help you big time with those medication costs.

I think the biggest question when I see a program like this is, “Can I still use it if I have insurance?” Well the answer to that question is two-fold. With ScriptSave WellRx, you can still use it if you have insurance coverage, BUT you can’t use it in addition to insurance. So you have to choose which you want. Do you want to pay for the price from ScriptSave WellRx or the price after your insurance has been applied. Luckily you can make that decision quickly since the app will tell you right away how much it will cost.
The app is free to download. And you don’t need to use a credit card or pay any membership fees either. Once you download the app, simply put in the name of your medication and your zip code, and it will do the rest for you. I’m in Kingman, AZ and the app found a lot of options for a very expensive medication of ours.

With school starting, I have even more costs to think about so saving up to 80% (average is about 45%) on medications is a big deal. My oldest is now a Freshman and I’m surprised at how much they need. I swear the older they get the more everything costs. Not only that, but she needs a new laptop. So with all the savings, I will be using all of this towards her new computer.

The process couldn’t be any easier:
  1. Simply download the app, register and put in your “invite code”
  2. Enter in the medication name and zip code
  3. A list will appear with what stores are available and the price
  4. Click on that store
  5. Click on “my card”
  6. Show the “card” to the pharmacy
It really is that simple, and you can save so much. Please let me know if you are using this, start and what your thoughts are. Hope you find some great savings as well.
